Always like to see the USC “Monks” marching band come through. Karma + Spirit of Troy.

I want to ride to the ridge where the west commences
And gaze at the moon till I lose my senses
And I can’t look at hovels and I can’t stand fences
Don’t fence me in… -

I carry you.
I touch your face, your eyes..
Pink and playful place to hold
my listening device while I sleep.
I have learned to “travel well”.

What Comforts?

What do you take with you when you leave the unfamiliar - when you embark on a journey - when you see and feel - remind you part of your past is still with you?
Your old shirt still smells of the drawer with sachet - the wiggle of your small dog - the way his chin feels cupped in your hand - the lowering of your heartbeat, whispers of sentiment.
feeling all is well as we leave one threshold for another…we surround ourselves with tiny bits of home.

The sign is perfectly unclear. You can’t get there from here. The up is blocked. The down is not.
Result: Ask 20 people how to “go up”.
Solution: Make a sign that points in the correct direction.

Take a comfort animal on your flight? We do allow live stress pets, but this passenger had an easier idea. He takes his bear ( who has his own passport ) all over the world on every flight.
He took my picture handing the bear his boarding pass in which I returned in kind by asking him to take this photo from my iphone and they were delighted to allow. I told them about this blog site and hope they see it.
Note: It is O.K. to enjoy the people you meet working at an airport.
I highly recommend it.

There’s much to be said about comfy travel attire. Carolyn found some nautical clothing in matching his and hers. I for one am amazed at whenever you have sailboats and lighthouses in any fabric print, it’s always red white & blue - aqua being the preferred “blue”. I suppose the sea is either very patriotic, or very happy. Primary colors evoke a sense of fun, thereby giving one a feeling of leisure.
This is almost as good as the popcorn get-a-way all in one out fit. Agreed?
